Agreement to Terms

By using Notary Nook™ services, you agree to these Terms of Service and acknowledge that all notarizations are performed by licensed, commissioned notaries in accordance with applicable state and federal laws.

Services Provided

Notary Nook™ provides:

• Remote Online Notarization (RON) services
• In-Person Electronic Notarization (IPEN) services
• Mobile notary services
• Document preparation assistance
• NookScan Protocol™ AI-powered document compliance checking

User Responsibilities

Users must:

• Provide valid identification as required by law
• Ensure documents are complete and accurate
• Appear personally for notarization (physically or via video)
• Pay applicable fees for services
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

NookScan Protocol™

Our proprietary AI technology assists with document compliance but:

• Does not constitute legal advice
• Does not guarantee legal validity of documents
• Is supplemental to notary professional judgment
• Patent Pending technology owned by Notary Nook™

Limitations of Liability

Notary Nook™ and its notaries:

• Are not responsible for document content or legal validity
• Cannot provide legal advice or counsel
• Are protected by Errors & Omissions (E&O) insurance
• Liability is limited to the fee paid for services

Fees and Payment

Service fees are clearly disclosed before notarization. Payment is required before service completion. Refunds may be available in limited circumstances as determined by management.

Compliance and Regulations

All services comply with:

• State notary laws and regulations
• Federal electronic signature laws (ESIGN Act, UETA)
• Industry best practices and standards
• National Notary Association (NNA) guidelines

Termination

Either party may terminate services at any time. Notary Nook™ reserves the right to refuse service for any lawful reason.
